Great Online Resources for Finding Paleo Foods

Paleo Food, Paleo Food Companies, Paleo Snacks, Paleo Food Website, Paleo Grass Fed Meats

Want your food to come from a farm and not a factory? Check out the resources below!

A week or so ago, I asked our Facebook fans what sort of information I could provide that would help them on their Paleo journey.  After tips on staying Paleo on a budget, the second most requested information was where to get quality meats, produce, and snacks.

So, to help with this, I’ve compiled a list of fantastic websites and companies that provide, well, quality meats, produce and snacks.  If you’re interested in learning more about each of these sites, all you have to do is just click the link!

LocalHarvest - This website doesn’t actually sell or provide any food, however, it does show you how to find local farms, community sponsored agriculture (CSAs), farmers markets, and meat producers, among other things.  So, if you’re a big fan of buying local (something I personally like to promote!), this is a great site to visit, especially since farmer’s market season is right around the corner!

We’ll actually be having an interview with one of LocalHarvest’s founders in the next issue of Paleo Lifestyle Magazine, so make sure you sign up for our mailing list if you haven’t already done so!

Tropical Traditions and Grass Fed Traditions - Both of these sites promote sustainable, organic, and humane agriculture, plus, they both regularly offer really great deals.  As I stated in my review, I absolutely love Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil (I’ll have a post up soon on all the awesome things you can do with coconut oil) since it tastes great and you can buy it in massive and discounted quantities.  Once I’m done with my freezer full of local grass fed/finished meat, I plan on ordering some grass fed/finished bison meat from Grass Fed Traditions.

Even if you’re not interested in purchasing anything today, I highly recommend you head over to either website and sign up for their mailing list so that they can let you know what their most current deals are.

U.S. Wellness Meats - If you want practically any kind of meat (beef, lamb, chicken, bison, rabbit) that was raised using sustainable methods, fed a healthy diet, and free from foods laced with antibiotics and hormones, then U.S. Wellness Meats is the perfect site for you!  I think in terms of selection, this site is the absolute best.

Plus, if you want to treat your pet to Paleo food, they’ve got you covered!

Vital Choice - For Paleo Pescaterians (I’m not even sure that’s a thing, so, basically, if you really like fish) Vital Choice is a great website for you since it offers lots of varieties of wild caught and sustainably caught fish.  Or, if you’re not not a big fan of fish but want quality Omega-3 supplements, you can get them here, too.

PaleoTreats - If you’re interested in ordering something to help satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further than PaleoTreats and their delicious hand-made Paleo cookies, desserts, and “other delectables.”  All their stuff looks delicious, so why not have some on hand for when you know you’re going to want to devour something baked and tasty?!

CleanEats - As I stated in my review, CleanEats has amazing Paleo granola, which contains cashews, almonds, coconut, raisins, and pecans.  Or, if you prefer, you can get granola that has all of that plus bacon!  How amazing does that sound?  Since Paleo snacks seem to be a topic a lot of people want to know more about, I can whole-heartedly say CleanEats makes one of the most delicious Paleo snacks around!

Evolve Foods - Another great mostly Paleo snack site.  Their best selling product is their grass fed, gluten free, and (most importantly, since you can never seem to find it) soy free beef jerky.  This jerky is pretty much as pure as I’ve ever seen, so if you can’t make your own at home, you might want to check these guys out!

Have you ordered from any of these places before?  What are your thoughts?  What site do you want to try the most?  Leave a comment below and share your thoughts with the community!
